2018 WATERFIRE HAS BEEN CANCELED

Due to inclement weather, WaterFire KC has been canceled. "This is always a heartbreaking decision to make," affirms Cheryl Kimmi, Executive Producer of KC Creates. "With the anticipated accumulation of rain over the next 24 hours, the safety of the performers, boat operators and public had to be our number one priority." WaterFire KC will not be rescheduled this year, but will return in 2019. "I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors, donors and volunteers," says Cheryl Kimmi. "It takes a monumental amount of time and effort from many different groups of people to make this event possible each year, and we cannot iterate our appreciation enough."
